Following a successful AGM on Monday, 5th October, 2009, we are already making preparations for this year’s competitions. Congratulations to Ann Coffey, Enfield, who has taken on the role of Chairperson. Ann has been a dynamic Games Secretary for the last two years and has a wealth of experience of all aspects of Community Games. Laura O’Donoghue, Clonard, has stepped down as County Secretary after two years of dedicated, excellent service to young and old in Meath Community Games. Her enthusiasm, organisation , and good humour were praised many times by various speakers at the meeting. A number of people have come forward to take on the different aspects of the County Secretary’s role and we wish them well.

In an effort to encourage volunteers to come forward - to help in existing areas or to start up new areas – an advertisement has been placed in the Meath Chronicle for the October 10th edition. If you are interested in making contact, please email a member of our Development Committee:
