Tutor Development Course
Introduction
The purpose of this course is for more experienced Foundation Leaders/Volunteers who wish to advance to the next stage of the HSE Community Games Volunteer Education Pathway and become a certified HSE Community Games Tutor. Once you have graduated and become a Tutor, you are certified to present Foundation Leader Courses to other volunteer ages 16 years and over (see below).
Course Details
There are 5 Stages in the course programme:
Stage 1 - Tutor Training (2 Days – Saturday & Sunday in October)
Stage 2 - Tutor Training (2 Days – Saturday & Sunday in October).
Stage 3 - Tutor Training (2 Days – Saturday & Sunday in November)
Stage 4 - Observe a HSE Community Games Foundation Leader Course
Stage 5 - Observed Giving a HSE Community Games Leader Course. This is the final Stage in graduating as a HSE Community Games Tutor
Courses commence in October and run till April (subject to change).
HSE Community Games covers all tuition fees, accommodation and travel costs for each candidates.
Selection of candidates is based upon criteria submitted in application forms and experience of volunteering with the HSE Community Games.
Certificates will be awarded to all those who complete the full programme. The certificate will be awarded by the HSE Community Games and Coaching Ireland.
